About Me

I'm Tomisin, a design engineer and educator based in London, exploring the intersection of sleek design and technology, with a focus on digital minimalism and finding harmony between tech and nature.

I attained a first class bachelors degree in engineering from the University of Warwick, where I built a solid foundation in modern technologies through modules such as digital systems, power electronics, communication systems, and signal processing, alongside modules in management and manufacturing. This blend of technical and operational knowledge informs my approach to creating thoughtful, streamlined solutions that connect design, technology, and real-world impact

As of now, I'm focused on helping non-technical individuals navigate the ongoing technological revolution, with a particular emphasis on how we can use AI in education effectively and responsibly. I'm also passionate about raising awareness around the importance of digital presence in today's world, supporting individuals in launching personal websites and helping small businesses build strong, intentional digital identities.

I am currently developing a line of smart technologies that integrate sensors and artificial intelligence to assist with everyday life, focusing on augmentation rather than full automation. While I strongly believe in the potential of technology, I’m also an advocate for digital minimalism and its role in maintaining balance in our increasingly connected world. My goal is to create sustainable technologies that not only complement our natural environment but also enhance it.

Outside of developing and teaching, I am passionate about travel, architecture, writing (check out my blog), and design. These interests influence how I think about interfaces and user flows, drawing inspiration from both physical spaces and cultural diversity. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and I am currently studying Arabic.
